The past cannot have me, but it has been trying to get to me this week!
Grappling and grasping for any lingering disappointment or lost hope it can cling to, but I’m not havin’ it 🙅🏻♀️
I’ve moved on.
I don’t respond the same anymore, and THANK GOD for that!
There have been 3 *major* conversations I’ve had over the last few days, each of them feeling heavy in their own way, and I’m SO grateful for growth and grace ✨ both coming in clutch this week!
I’m grateful for community I can turn to for prayer 🙏
I’m grateful for the Holy Spirit who helps me hold my tongue 😜
I’m grateful to have leaders I can look to and get guidance from 💗
I’m grateful that I’ve learned how to respond instead of react 💪 that extra moment of quiet while I take a deep breath really IS a game changer in the department of not regretting my words later 🙊
I’m grateful to not be who I was, and I’m grateful for what that girl taught me 💝
I’ve learned a LOT from past Susan, but I’m hoping present Susan can be a gentler and wiser teacher for future Susan to learn from 😉
The past cannot have me, even if it’s doing its darndest to take me back!
But the future? I’m all yours!
