Perspective ? It’s a game changer.
.
I used to waste ? money on things (mostly perfume, makeup, and shoes) and then *not* use them because I didn’t want to use them up or wear them out ? did you know perfume goes ? rancid? Well, now you do. Don’t end up throwing bottles away like I had to ?
.
May I invite you to skip the wasteful part of my lesson and go straight to the FUN part? ?
.
? Wear the shoes (they’re cute in pictures, help boost your confidence, complete the outfit, get more comfortable with time, and are a great excuse to get a new pair when they wear out. But no shame in buying multiple of a great pair when you find them!)
.
? Use the special dishes (it’s not the amount of dust they’re collecting that makes them special – it’s the memories created while you’re enjoying them. We used to enjoy juice or water out of wine glasses growing up! And do you know how much better iced coffee tastes from a sweet martini glass? ?)
.
? Put on the lipstick (literally for any occasion! I’ve never known a little rouge to ruin anything. My Aunt Verle used to put on fresh lips and give us each tons of kisses all over our face and it is such a sweet memory from my childhood ???)
.
? Put the dress on for “just a regular day” (you bought it to enjoy, not for it to hang in the back of your closet. “The dress doesn’t make the girl – the girl makes the dress!” -?Ving Rhames in the movie Entrapment)
.
☕ Get the fancy coffee (not only are you giving your barista the opportunity to create a masterpiece, you may just discover a new favorite thing. Some of my *favorite* memories include this delightful, decadent, divine liquid – don’t miss out!)
.
? Ask her out (if she says “no” then you’ll know, and if she says “yes” then yay! No greater regret than pondering the “what if?”)
.
? LIVE YOUR LIFE (it’s not anyone else’s to live. And what a blessing to get to create our dreamiest reality by the choices we make each day!)
