?Here are some of my favorite keys to catch some Zzzzs (aka how to sleep soundly on the regular ?)!
?Get things out of your brain so you don’t waste space and mental energy on odds and ends. I send myself emails or plug things directly into my project management software or calendar where applicable.
?Talk to God about what’s swirling in your mind
?Ask Him to give you answers in your dreams
?Fully utilize your brain power during the day towards productive actions. Stagnant brains don’t encourage sound sleep.
?Speak these things over yourself:
✨I’m going to get the perfect amount of sleep tonight
✨I got the perfect amount of sleep last night
✨I’m such a good sleeper
✨Oooooh, I’m going to sleep so well tonight
Then there are the super obvious tips:
? Don’t drink caffeine too late in the day
? Hydrate well during the day and cut liquids off a couple of hours before bed so you’re not needing to get up in the middle of the night
? Turn off electronics / screens at least an hour before bed
? Block out all light
? Plan your day ahead of time so you can get to bed and allow enough time for proper sleep
? for the win! We all need it. Our own bodies benefit from it when we each sleep soundly. And we all benefit from it when YOU sleep soundly, too!
