His words told a story that his actions weren’t reading.

Have you ever been in that kind of situation?

They’re a good person.

They’re not being maliciously misleading.

In fact, they probably even want to believe the words they’re saying.

They may not even realize that there’s anything not matching up.

But their actions clearly weren’t reading the story their words were telling.

I’ve had this happen to me before, and it can be quite….

?Devastating

?Confusing

?Frustrating

?Humiliating

?Destructive

?Humbling

The GREAT NEWS is though, that I learned to trust ACTIONS over words.

A lesson that took me a couple of tries, but has paid off in dividends!

If I can offer you one piece of advice, it’s to trust actions over words.

They will always point straighter than words can.

People CAN change though, so be encouraged – if it’s pointed out, and they really are willing to change, they can ?

So, obviously, this isn’t a one size fits all, but it’s a really helpful lesson if you’re willing to learn it and want to save yourself some heartache!
