I was with one of my dearest friends, celebrating her upcoming marriage and this was one of our last stops before we got in the car to head home from her bachelorette weekend. .
I had just spent the last 5 days immersed in meeting tons (!!!!) of new people and needing to be socially “on” the entire time. That’s asking a lot of an introvert. It was fun, and the people were lovely…AND, I was ready to snuggle with my cat and soak in the peace and quiet of my home.

I had only recently broken through my limitation of believing that “only other girls are able to have fun photoshoots and capture their life in cute little snaps along the way.” and this photo reminds me of my bravery. Because, for me, it takes courage to ask for what I want. And I get to celebrate each time I exercise my bravery!

I had just had one of those “this is completely idyllic” thoughts ? Walking and talking with a dear friend, coffee in hand, on a sunny day, perusing little boutiques – that exact combinations is one of my favorite things and this photo reminds me of that experience. It was as if time stood still and the perfection of that moment was extended.
