It’ll be a quick pop during our 10am service, so don’t you worry for a second that it’ll be some long, drawn out thiiiiiiiiing ???? there are only 10 of us from that campus ???? and they’ll pray for us and then continue with regular service. Quick and powerful ????
What is AwakenU? You may be wondering…
Well, it’s a Bible College-infused Leadership program, designed to train and equip leaders within the church…filled with skills, guidance, and relationships that elevate one in every area of life ????
From sunset on night 1 to sunset on night 38 (and all the sunsets in between), it’s marked me ????
It’s been almost a year on this journey of AwakenU, and while lots has changed, it also seems like not much has changed.
There have been:
✅ Life shifts
✅ Disappointments
✅ Celebrations
✅ Victories
✅ Revelations
✅ Tears
✅ Times I didn’t want to go
✅ Bursts of laughter
✅ Revelations of tangible progress
✅ Knowings that I’m experiencing under-the-radar progress
I’ve let go of things, and stepped into others, and yet when people ask “What’s new?” it doesn’t seem that any of those things are tangible enough to reflect as some major life update.
But isn’t it true that some of the most impactful things in life don’t just happen in a moment? They are cultivated, waited for, and experienced over time. Thank God for patience ????
While I don’t have full clarity at this time on why I was prompted to go through AwakenU, I’m so confident that the impact it’s had will be more than just a ripple-effect across my life in the decades to come ????
If you’ve been considering it, thinking of it, curious about it, or wondering if this is the “right” time for you to go through it or not ???? can I just encourage you to go for it?! Apply and trust that when it’s the season for you to be the most impactful (and impacted) through it, you’ll get to go through then ????
