More and more lately I’ve been honest with myself about how much I enjoy fashion! I’ve always enjoyed it (hello, barbies!) and while I had my years of awkwardness and not knowing how to dress for my body it’s been fun to rediscover that joy!
.
When people talk about success habits, one thing they often reference is removing decision fatigue, by having things streamlined (i.e. meals prepped, schedule laid out, and duplicates of the same wardrobe so you’re wearing the same outfit all the time and not having to pick a new one each day).
.
That’s all well and good, but when I finally let myself realize that picking my outfit was FUN and not a fatigue-inducing activity, I’ve been enjoying it all the more.
.
I always set out my outfit(s) the night before, and am sharing this to (hopefully) inspire you to be successful >> but in YOUR way! I’ll let what’s-his-face from FB keep his repeat t-shirt outfits – I’m gonna go ahead and rock on with my fashionista self
.
Who are my fellow fashion girls?!
.
Do you try new outfits on before you wear them out of your house, or do you let wearing it in public be the trial run? I usually try new outfits (like when I wore this one the first time) at women’s prayer, and gage reaction and see how I feel in it. It’s usually either a very clear “wear again” or very clear “nope!”
.
That’s my fashion tip of the day for ya’!
