Not sure how to get started?? Here are some tips to get you into action and out of the uncertainty you’re currently in:
1) Get clear on what your IDEAL outcome would be (even if it doesn’t feel possible at this moment)
2) Visualize the conversation flowing smoothly, with all parties coming to a win-win agreement that everyone feels wonderfully about – visualize your ideal outcome coming to fruition
3) Create a bullet-point outline of things you want to cover
4) Initiate communication (stop waiting for the other person/people to) – it’s YOUR responsibility
5) Have the conversation
YEP – it really is this simple, though it may not feel easy. It may be unknown territory. It may bring up some stuff to work through. However, what I can guarantee is that it will release you from the weight of sitting in uncertainty and doubt and fear. Plus, you’ll strengthen your “I am capable of even the things that make me nervous” muscle, which will only support you!!
