In February 2017, I decided to move to San Diego, and it was exactly 7 years ago, today, that I drove into town ✨
And these last 7 years have been WONDERFUL (minus a few blips on the radar ????)!!
I’m still in awe of who God’s blessed me with down here ????
I’m still in awe of my cute home ????
I’m still in awe of the bay and the Sea World fireworks ???? show down the street ????
I’m still in awe of the palm trees ???? and the wild parrots ????
I’m still in awe of the fact that I moved at all, knowing who I used to be ????????
I still miss my dear WA people ????
I still love waking up to the sunshine ☀️
I still enjoy my daily walks, petting all the dogs (a tradition that was started in WA) ????
I still prefer warmth over cold ????
I still hope my family moves down here, even though I know that’s beyond a long shot ????????
A lot can happen in 7 years ???????? And while I feel like it’s rare for me to have a response to “what’s new?!” ????????♀️ it feels like everything’s changed at the same time.
