? This one goes out to all my friends in recovery ?
I recently had the opportunity to serve at a ministry night for our church’s world-class recovery program, and I found myself incredibly blessed because of it!
? There’s something so potent about the courage it takes to face what’s not working, and admit that there’s a need for healing.
? There’s something so powerful about surrendering what’s been familiar for so long and creating space for God to move in a new way.
? There’s something so liberating about forgiveness, and choosing to see a different perspective.
? There’s something so encouraging about witnessing people who’ve tried so many different things, be willing to try again.
I was struck by the freedom in that room, as we let go of what was and invited God to fill that void.
God’s presence is the fullness of joy, and it was palpable in that place.
