MEN, you’re better than you know

Can I give you some encouragement?

If you have someone who is reflecting something to you, and it has you feel like you’re not good enough or you think they’re telling you you’re not good enough, I hope that you can learn to hear it through the filter of ? “I actually see how incredible you are and I want you to see it as well. Here’s what you’re capable of.”

? You’re better than you know.
? You’re more capable than you know.
? You’re more gifted than you know.
? You’re more savvy than you know.
? You’re more emotionally tuned in than you know.
? You’re more ready than you know.
? You are. I promise.

Maybe you’ve had less-than-flattering things said about you, or maybe you think less-than-flattering things about yourself, but just because you don’t see it doesn’t mean it’s not true.

Would you be willing to recognize that this may simply be a blind spot for you? You may be blind to your own greatness, but it’s time to get your clear vision back!

We can see it in you (“we” being your friends, spouse, colleagues, etc.), and we want you to be able to see it in you.

So, next time someone reflects something to you, instead of taking offense to the feedback, or dismissing it as “impossible” or “that’s not who I am”, try accepting that you ARE capable, and we’re simply speaking into something we know to be true.

You may not see it yet, but do not deny the patterns of things that are being reflected to you. And don’t take it as an insult. Receive it as a compliment and step fully into the man that you are!

Stop diminishing your capacity and your character.

You’re created in God’s image, and He didn’t make any sluggards, fools, or cowards.

You are strong and courageous, and we believe in you ? ? ?
