You can see new things about yourself that you’re excited about, and you can be faced with frustrations about yourself that you’re less-than-enthused by.
.
For me, these last 5 months in the Pathfinders Apprenticeship has reminded me how necessary it is to position yourself.
.
I’d been in a loooong pattern of fulfilling on established commitments (which I genuinely enjoy) and hadn’t repositioned myself in a while.
.
Uncomfortable? You bet!
Worth it? Time will tell, but I’m willing to bet very much YES!
.
☑It was a lot of being vulnerable, a lot of asking questions (and asking for support), and a lot of energy output.
☑It was time, sacrifice, and self-doubt at times.
☑It was demanding, and humbling.
☑It was worth every penny and more, and it was life changing (for the better).
.
I’ve gotten really good at pouring into others over the years, and honestly haven’t exercised my receiver muscle as much, and this program reminded me about that.
.
If you’re not in a room with other leaders you can turn to, POSITION YOURSELF in a new room.
.
?I graduated on Tuesday, and am deeply honored to have been awarded the #warlord award from my team, representing leadership, building others up, presenting well in front of a group, and doing with excellence what was asked of us through the program.
.
I don’t take it lightly that these phenomenal individuals provided me the opportunity to walk in my strength zone of encouragement, and that they trusted my words when I got to speak into them. Truly humbling to receive their vote of confidence when it was them who poured into me, more than they will ever know. Team Seismic Impact, THANK YOU for giving me fresh perspective, creative insights, and a renewed sense of what I’m capable of.
.
? Grateful ?
