It’s okay to say “No” to great opportunities to say “yes” to extraordinary ones!
Now, this doesn’t mean that you get to ditch out and screw people over because an extraordinary opportunity comes around.
You still get to communicate and follow-through on your word.
How you finish something is just as important (if not more so) than how you start something.
BUT, I see a lot of people get stuck on “good” or “great” because they don’t want to walk away from something that’s working to step into an extraordinary unknown.
I’ve had 3 conversations this last week, where I had to let go of great things in order to step into extraordinary unknowns.
Have the extraordinary things fully unfolded since then? No. They haven’t yet.
Is there space for them now? Yes. There is.
What is that great thing in your life that you’ve been using as a placeholder for too long? That thing you know it’s time to release…
Have the conversation. Finish out strong. And make way for the extraordinary!
