Surprise me, Lord (Pastor Tommy Barnett)

This man here is sure someone special  wow. He reminds me of a blend of my two grandfathers – both of whom have passed away decades ago, and both of whom have my utmost respect and admiration!!

Seeing his sweet face immediately warmed my heart. 
.
Shaking his hand confirmed his confident gentleness. 
.
Hugging him felt like being wrapped in the warmth of kindness that can only be found after decades of loving God and loving people so well! 
.
Hearing him speak a sermon  entitled “Surprise me, Lord” (available on Awaken Church’s app) showed me that (1) Ps. Tommy is every bit as dynamic, engaging, and darling on stage as you would imagine, (2) I’ve been limiting God with even my massive dreams, and (3) I miss having a grandpa  Who has one I can adopt?

Pastor Tommy is wise, funny, and, without question, “the grandpa you wish you had!!” When it comes out in February, be sure to grab his book “What If?” – it’s his story of believing God for more!! And he definitely lives it out!
