I’ve been doing a deep dive lately into some inner healing, and among some great resources I’ve been using, I especially want to highlight this book >>> Wound Care: Healing from the Inside Out, by Dana Piper (maiden name = Dana Adams *https://amzn.to/3t0x9jj) ?

Among the wisdom found in its pages, this line really jumped out at me as I was reading this morning: “…if I wanted to heal, I had to get real, be strong, and be courageous.”

Healing isn’t the easiest thing.

? It takes intention.

? It takes willingness.

? It takes courage.

? It takes strength.

Healing isn’t the easiest thing, but it IS worth it.

Y’all know I’m excited to get to step into marriage, and while growth (and grace) is a lifetime adventure, admittedly marriage is proving to be a great incentive for me to dive in head on ? to confront and clean up any messes, and to release any baggage that’s been trying to weigh me down.

I’m not naïve to think that healing will be fully complete, never needing to be revisited, by the time I step into marriage. BUT, it’s great practice ?

Hubs, I don’t know who you are, or where you are, or when we’ll meet, but I’m doing what I can with what I’ve got to set us up for a thriving marriage…and I’m sharing the resources along the way!

Praying big time for you, for me, and for us ?
