Do you ever hear something so wonderful, so resonant, and so magnificent that it seems too good to be true?

This morning, that happened for me.

I’d just had a sweet friend praying with me, and she started speaking all of these incredible things out about my future, and specifically my husband and opportunities coming forth, and I intentionally said “AMEN!” when she was done.

“Amen” translates to “so be it” or “let it be done” and I absolutely want to agree with what she shared…. AND, it’s up to me to receive it.

In the past, I’ve found that it’s sometimes easier to say “oh, well, that’d be nice” (in a sarcastic tone) instead of simply receiving the blessing that was spoken. It can feel difficult to receive when there’s nothing in the natural that’s pointing to it.

I’m choosing differently now.

Am I seeing all of the things she mentioned happening right now? Nope. I’m sure not.

But did they strike a chord and touch on a deep knowing within? Yes. They most certainly did.

“I receive that!” is a fantastic response!! No need to understand the how or the when to fully receive what’s been spoken.

After she prayed, she shared Amos 9:13-15 with me, and I’d love to pass along the blessing that it is!

Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won’t be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once – and everywhere you look, blessings! Blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and hills.

It’s been a long season of waiting, on many things, and this last year especially I have felt so underutilized. Bleccckk ? If you’ve experienced it, you know the weight that can come with that emptiness.

I’m eager for what’s ahead, and my year of being MAXIMIZED. Nothing left on the table.

If this is something you’d like, too, feel free to say “I receive that!”

It’s ours for the taking.

AMEN.
