Thank God for late crops.
For those blessings we’ve prayed for that haven’t happened in our perfect time.
For those dreams we’ve had that haven’t come to pass yet.
Thank God for late crops.
When good things seem to be destroyed in front of us.
When beauty seems to fade away.
Thank God for late crops.
The storm came and the hail fell.
“Now the flax and barley were destroyed, since the barley was ripe and the flax was in bloom; but the wheat and spelt were not destroyed, because they are late crops.” (Ex 9:31)
Thank God for late crops.
It’s not always as it seems.
When one thing’s demolished, allow it to make way for something new.
Whether you’re in the middle of the hail, or the clouds just parted, or you sense a storm’s-a-brewin’, or you’re deep in the harvest season, be encouraged, and thank God for late crops.
The storm is never permanent.
And while the hail may eliminate certain things, it can’t spoil the late crops.
