I often get the comment “wow – your home is so peaceful” and I’d like to share a few of the reasons I believe that to be.
? This home knows worship and prayer
? I don’t have a TV
? There’s nothing out on my counters (which is the first thing you see when you walk into my home)
? I keep things neat and tidy – tied with a bow, so to speak
? Everything has a place, and it goes back to its place when I’m done with it
? No dishes left in the sink – they’re either washed or put into the dishwasher
? I make my bed, daily.
?? Toilet lid is down (BEFORE the toilet lid is flushed, and then it stays down – if y’all haven’t seen this segment of Mythbusters, this is what did it for me. YUCK!)
? I keep my cupboard doors closed, unless I’m actively using them
Some of these may seem so random, but I’m tellin’ ya’! These are consistently happening in my home and I believe that’s why my home is full of peace.
